VITEEE Exam is online exam conduct by VIT UNIVERSITY for BTECH programmes in Vellore campus, Chennai campus, Bhopal campus, Amaravati Campus. Candidates can write VITEEE Exam at various centres as they mentioned in their official site. Eligible candidates can select specific campus and course during counselling. There are various BTECH courses offered in their four campuses, so you have to check first whether the course is available on that particular campus then you can select the courses.

  • PCME - Candidates attending in PCME (Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics/English) is eligible for all the B.Tech. Degree programmes, as per the VITEEE ranking
  • PCBE - Candidates attending in PCBE (Physics/Chemistry/Biology/English) is eligible just for B.Tech. Bio-stream Degree programmes (Bio-engineering, Biotechnology, Communications Security Establishment with special. in Bioinformatics and ECE with special. in medical speciality Engineering programmes), as per the VITEEE ranking. However, after joining the college you have to register for maths as bridge course is necessary

VITEEE Eligibility Criteria 2019

To appear for VITEEE Exam 2019, candidates need to fulfil certain academic criteria, age criteria etc which have been summed up below. Candidates can go through the given VITEEE 2019 eligibility criteria before filling the application forms.

Age Limit:

The candidate should be Born on or after 1st July 1997 are eligible to apply for the VITEEE Exam - 2019. At the time of counselling, You need to provide the birth certificate for Age proof. 

Qualifying Exam:
  • Candidates who are appearing or have passed the Candidates who are appearing or have passed the 10+2 higher secondary exam which is conducted by ISC, CBSE, any State board.
  • Intermediate or Two-year Pre-University Examination conducted by a recognized Board / University.
  • High School Certificate Examination of the Cambridge University or International Baccalaureate Certificate of the International Baccalaureate Workplace, Geneva.
  • General Certificate Education (G C E) examination (London/Cambridge/Srilanka) at the Advanced (A) level. 
  • NIOS candidates are also eligible to apply

Qualifying marks:
  • General Category- Candidates should have scored a combination of 60% in Maths, Physics and Chemistry in 10+2.
  • SC, ST, J&K, North Eastern states- Candidates should have scored an average 50% marks in Physics, Maths and Chemistry in 10+2 or its equivalent exam.

Questions and Marks

There shall be 40 questions each in Chemistry, Physics, Maths totalling 120 and in English, there shall be 5 questions.

Total Questions = 125
Marks = 125
Each question carries one mark and there's no negative marking
